# Pulse Web-Based System – Enhancements

Architecture and Development of Enhancements to Web-based Guest Management System

## Brief

A London-based multinational sports marketing agency required assistance with a number of major changes to the ‘itineraries’ functionality of their guest management system ‘Pulse’. This functionality is used to manage the activities for corporate guests attending major sporting events – including managing guest schedules, transportation, staffing and the creation of various reports.

## Solution

We led the work on the changes, discussing proposed approaches with the client and then coding the changes. The system was originally written several years back and we ensured our code and database changes followed the style and architecture which was already in place. In some places we also made code improvements and optimisations.

## Results

The changes were completed and the client was pleased with the work done. Following extensive testing the enhanced itinerary functionality was used for major events.
